Quit16 and the Big Tobacco Cough Up

Quit16 launched this week showing the 16 cancers linked to smoking and while most of us know about the links to lung cancer, smoking is actually linked with 16 different cancers, including cancers of the mouth, stomach, kidney, bowel, liver, pancreas, ureter, oesophagus, cervix, bladder and ovaries.

In our region we have the highest adult smoking rates in the country…but there’s an excellent local stop smoking service where you’re five times more likely to stay quit with the help on offer.
