The Brighouse Arts Festival 2017 is here! This year there is the greatest selection of artists, entertainment and events for the 2017 festival. Check out ‘What’s On’ for the full line up.

Keep your eyes peeled to the festival website over the coming weeks as they announce performances, exhibitions, tours and talks for The Brighouse Festival: Bridging Arts and Community.

Literature is a large aspect of The Brighouse Arts Festival 2017: with author talks, writing workshops, group sharings, spoken word and community involved projects there’s lots for everyone to enjoy.

Earlier we advertised the talk by Juliet Barker about Branwell Bronte at Rastrick Library on Tuesday 17 October at  7pm but we still have to tell you about ‘Street Theatre from Calderdale College Acting Performance Foundation Degree Students’ . This will be street theatre by students from Calderdale College in Halifax. Students studying the Acting Performance Foundation Degree will be entertaining the streets of Brighouse on Saturday 7 October.

Expect contemporary, improvised, fun and interactive street entertainment and theatre for all of the family to enjoy on the streets of Brighouse for the opening day of the Brighouse Arts Festival 2017 from 12pm-4pm.

FREE to enjoy, watch, participate and experience.
