Posted on Updated on

On Tuesday 31 October 2017 at 10am until 12pm the people at Forgotten Forest will be having a special under 8’s Halloween session. Lots of Halloween fun with apple bobbing, broom making, worm soup eating.
Feel free to dress up. Starting off with a welcome around the log circle, a site safety chat and information about all the fun things to do. You are then free to explore. Play in the swings or hammocks, bug hunt, climb trees, build with natural materials, play in the mud kitchen or in some of the pallet designs( boat, reading nook, wood tipi, train) or go in the tipi and read a story, place with sensory toys, puppets or musical instruments.
There will be a theme to each session with a story and a natural but optional activity.
There is a break half way through for hot chocolate around the fire. Tea, coffee, juice and water are always available and they are free. There is also an outdoor toilet.
We finish off with a recap songs and goodbyes.

Tickets are £4 per person whether they are adult or child and can be booked online. Little babies are free however the woods is not pram friendly due to hand dug steps and uneven ground. Please park on Bradford Road and not on Mayfield as the elderly neighbours have regular nurse visits and need access. You are also welcome to use Sarah’s drive.
