Posted on Updated on

After yet another amazing event last year, WINTERLIGHT returns to Sowerby Bridge to transform the Wharf area of the town (near to the Moorings) into an enchanted winter wonderland bursting with light and sound.

On Sunday 10 December, 5pm-8pm, this year’s street festival will feature…

The Baghdaddies
The Ski Band
Whalley Range All Stars
Circus Fudge
Wild Strawberry Illuminations
The Fireman Dave
The Astronaut’s Caravan
Giant Goose Parade
Great Food Stalls
Mulled wine

This festival is about you so please join us in lighting up the Wharf by wearing illuminated costumes, hats, prams, jackets, umbrellas, and faces.

More details to follow…

Free event – No parking on site

The Fire and Water Project at Hollins Mill Lane is an ambitious project to deliver social, cultural and economic change to Sowerby Bridge. The aim is to create a purpose built venue to provide community training and to house arts, music and cultural events as well as providing space for other community activities.
