Green Future Building (GFB), a not for profit social enterprise, supplies an innovative range of nature conservation products from its Elland Bridge manufacturing workshop.
You will be a self-starter with a hands-on background (joinery preferred), within easy reach of Elland (M62 J24), and able to work with young people, communities and outdoors on eco ‘design & build’ projects.
This would best suit a “birder” or “naturalist”, or someone with an interest in wildlife conservation looking to progress into the wider employment market – due to our social enterprise ethos and the types of products we produce, however this is not a requirement.
Enquiries to John Beaumont 07917 167779 or via greenfuturebuilding.org.uk
See GFB’s website and social media for bird and photography hides, screens and platforms, tern rafts, sand martin banks, boxes for species of conservation concern, rain garden planters, box sluices and wetland management services.
GFB are leading suppliers of specialist conservation products designed and built to a very high standard to meet all the rigours of life in some of Britain’s wildest landscapes. They are committed to their founding principles of building with recycled and sustainable materials where and whenever possible and to social inclusion focusing on learning, training and employment creation, working with disadvantaged communities, groups and individuals.
Their ethos is “Working together to make our countryside a richer place for wildlife and people”.
