Volunteers Week – Volunteering with VAC
As part of Volunteers Week (1-7 June) VAC will be hosting an open day at a residential care home in Todmorden for anyone interested in finding out more about the Molly and Bill project or Quality Voice and the new volunteering opportunities available in the Upper Valley.
Tuesday 5 June, 2:00pm-4:00pm VAC Volunteer Open Afternoon at Ferney Lee Residential Care Home, Ferney Lee Road, Todmorden, OL14 5JW.
VAC will also be attending two open sessions hosted by the VSI Alliance to recruit new volunteers in Halifax.
Thursday 7 June, 2:00pm-4:00pm Volunteer Recruitment Fair at Hope Street Resource Centre, Halifax .
Friday 8 June, 10:00am-12:00pm Mayor’s Charity Stall in Halifax Town Centre

VAC is always looking for new volunteers to get involved in our different projects. Comprehensive training is provided to volunteers and sessions are arranged regularly to induct new volunteers. There is ongoing support to all volunteers who take part in the projects.
