The Voices from the Frontline grants programme offers one-off grants of between £500 and £5,000 to voluntary and community organisations in the UK to pay for increasing the skills, capacity, credibility and effectiveness of women who wish to challenge gender inequality and promote awareness and change.
Grants will be awarded for projects that:
- Stimulate debate and amplify women’s voices.
- Raise awareness of one or more of Rosa’s four pillars (leadership and representation, safety, health and economic justice)
- Influence the public, policy makers, media and/or government.
- Change behaviours, attitudes or policies.
Throughout history, every single advance for women’s rights and gender equality – including property ownership, access to education, equal pay and reproductive rights – has only ever been achieved by bold, brave women becoming informed, getting organised, mobilising others and taking action to tackle injustice and inequality head-on. Rosa wants to fund this work!
Change comes about when women who have lived experience of injustice and inequality get heard, especially women facing intersecting disadvantages including race, class, sexuality, disability, poverty or migration status.
This programme offers grants of £500 to £5,000 to support charitable campaigning work across Rosa’s four pillars (leadership and representation, safety, health and economic justice). They are looking for new voices to stand up and take action.
Together, we can make change happen faster. Apply now…
To date, Voices from the Frontline has supported more than 60 grassroots and national women’s organisations across the UK, tackling issues that have a wider impact on women beyond the direct recipients of grants.
