FREE Training on ‘Gambling Related Harm’

Posted on Updated on

Citizens Advice Calderdale has received funding to provide free training about gambling-related harm to frontline workers (e.g. individuals who work within alcohol/substance misuse, mental health, housing, finance/welfare, safeguarding, social care, social work, social prescribing, adult and children services, community assets/services/centres) across Yorkshire, the Humber and North Lincolnshire.

The service is offering awareness (up to 1 hour) and training (1-3 hour) sessions. The awareness session is an introduction to gambling-related harm and the training session is more in-depth and focuses on how to spot the signs and symptoms associated with gambling-related harm.
