Pennine Magpie recruiting Trustees

Posted on

Pennine Magpie is a charity based in Halifax that offers a wide range of activities, experiences and training to adults with learning disabilities.

We are at an extremely exciting time of development and are looking for new Trustees to help us achieve our strategic aims.

We are particularly looking to recruit new Trustees who have experience in the fields of:

  • Finance
  • Employment Law
  • Governance
  • Health and Social Care
  • Project management
  • Adult Education
  • Learning Disabilities

You do not have to have a particular professional background to become a Trustee. You may know someone with a learning disability, or care or have cared for someone, you may be someone who believes strongly that all people no matter what their disability deserve to be respected and valued by society. If this describes you, you could have a lot to offer.

Pennine Magpie is committed to promoting equality and diversity opportunities and we welcome applications from all aspects of society.

If you feel you have the experience skills and drive to help us deliver our strategy, please contact Amanda Goulding, Chief Executive in the first instance.

We will be holding an open day on Thursday 7th November  where you will be able to meet students and staff and chat to existing Trustees to discuss what the role entails, what you might contribute and the satisfaction you may get from it.

More information, including the role description of a Trustee can be accessed through our website or by contacting the office on
