LOCAL RSPCA TO HOST BRAND NEW SUPER SMALLS SHOW LIVE FROM THEIR ANIMAL CENTRE ON SEPTEMBER 26TH

THE RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District Branch have been busy this year adapting their events online to bring them into supporters’ homes.

In July they hosted their popular annual K9 Party via a live streamed event, in August it was one for the feline fans with their Virtual Cat Show and this month it is the small animals turn as the local Branch introduce the Super Smalls Show.

This fun and interactive virtual show will celebrate the smaller animals in their Centre. Supporters of the local RSPCA rehoming centre can watch live from home and even take part in the show with 6 Ferret Fun Runs to bet on, along with entering photos of your Super Small animal into the photo competition from 10th – 24th September via their Facebook event page.

The RSPCA branch will host this special live streamed event from their Animal Centre on International Rabbit Day, Saturday 26th September at 2pm. The live show will include introductions to the small animals in their care, talks on how to care for smaller animals, a live raffle (with help from some of their guinea pig residents) and the fabulous main event feature of the Ferret Fun Runs! Supporters are encouraged to place a donated bet on which tunnel the ferrets will come out of to be in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes.

The Super Smalls Show hopes to shine a light on some of the smaller animals the RSPCA Branch have looking for homes.

Michelle King, Community & Events Fundraiser says “Our Animal Centre have an array of small animals looking for their forever homes and this event allows us to showcase some of these animals and raise awareness that it’s not just cats and dogs looking for their second chance of happiness. The event is also a chance to celebrate how much our small animal friends mean to us with the added bonus of interacting with our amazing supporters and raising precious funds for the animals in our care’’

The Super Smalls Show photo competition can be entered by uploading photos of your small animal to their ‘RSPCA Super Smalls Show’ on Facebook or by emailing your entry to: fundraising@rspcahalifaxhuddersfieldbradford.org.uk

All 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive an official RSPCA rosette delivered directly to their door; all funds raised from this event go towards supporting the care of the animals at the Wade Street Animal Centre based in Halifax.
