Be a Public Representative and share views on using digital technology to access NHS Health and Social Care Services!
West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership are committed to ensuring that public and patient voices are at the centre of shaping our services. Every level of our health care system needs to be informed by listening to those who use and care about our services.
The move to greater use of online triage and video consultation has long been on the cards and in many areas was already underway, but since COVID-19 it has been rapidly accelerated.
We know that there are many positives to using online and video consultation services, but we are also very aware that digital technology is not for everyone.
We are looking for representatives to attend a public engagement workshop, this is an opportunity for people to share their views and experiences of using digital technology to access NHS health and social care, and to provide a patient perspective as to how we can improve the way we deliver digital services to the people of West Yorkshire.
To be able to collect feedback from the public, we will be facilitating a number of workshops in partnership with mHabitat, who are a co-design, digital inclusion and innovation team hosted by Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Our preference is that we do this in a Covid-19 safe way in person but this is dependent on the latest government guidance. The events will take place in July 2021, with dates and times to be confirmed in due course.
If you or anyone you know is interested in taking part, please contact Hayley Lockwood for more information using the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively call 07970 267842.
