Latest designs for Halifax Railway Station consultation

Posted on

With over £30m of funding from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, we have the opportunity to transform Halifax Railway Station, improving the travel experience and providing a boost to the local economy.

The station is the sixth busiest in West Yorkshire and served nearly two million rail journeys each year before the pandemic. However, the current station has limited facilities and poor accessibility, which will only get worse if passenger numbers grow as we expect.

Following the feedback from the consultation we held at the beginning of the year, we’ve been able to adapt and further shape the plans for the station and now want to hear from you on these latest designs.

A public consultation started on Tuesday 23 November and will run for eight weeks until Sunday 16 January. To see the latest designs and to complete a survey visit
