WYFRS continuously strive to make our county safer and to always deliver the best Service for you.

Your views on West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service are important to us and we want to know  what you think of the service we provide.

Currently we are undergoing a public consultation on our new 3 year Community Risk Management Plan. The plan covers what our strategic priorities and areas focus are and how we will ensure we meet our ambition of `Making West Yorkshire Safer’.

WYFRS is one of 44 Fire & Rescue Services in England and Wales and the fourth biggest Metropolitan Service in England.

Our service is governed by the West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Authority which has 22 elected Members from across the five local authorities.

WYFRS serves a population of more than two million people, spread over almost 800 square miles, providing emergency cover 24-hours a day, every day of the year.
