New Lightcliffe Cricket Club premises in 2023 inviting community and voluntary groups

Posted on

Lightcliffe Cricket Club is a friendly and inclusive group, with a strong community ethos. We are looking for local voluntary and community groups who may be interested in using our brand new pavilion regularly when it opens next year.

We are reaching out to community groups who may be interested in using our new pavilion. It will be it accessible inside and out, with a free car park, accessible toilets and patio at ground level. The interior will be modern, comfortable and bright, with an eco-sustainable heating system, LED lighting and free WiFi.

Located at the heart of Lightcliffe village, off Wakefield Road at an award-winning,
tranquil location surrounded by beautiful countryside, our custom-built pavilion is
close to Hipperholme. It is well served by public transport and main routes from
Bailiff Bridge, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Halifax, Bradford and Leeds. Nearby are the
Sun Inn, and St. Matthew’s Churchyard, resting place of Gentleman Jack’s Ann
Walker.

The ground floor function room and kitchen will be available to hire at very
reasonable rates Mondays to Fridays, 9am-5pm.

If groups would like to send in written expressions of interest or want to get in touch,
please contact Richard, details below.
