Become an Engagement Champion and give local people a say

Posted on

You could earn money for your community by becoming an Engagement Champion.  You could reach out to people in your community that may not otherwise get to have a say.  If you enjoy talking to people and getting involved this could be for you.

The NHS wants to talk to people about its plans for local health services.  There is FREE training for local people to become Engagement Champions and talk to their communities.

The next training programme begins in the third week in February.  If you are interested in finding out more; contact Megan.vickery@cvac.org.uk or call 01422 431094.

The Engagement Champions programme is run by Voluntary Action Calderdale and funded by Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group, responsible for planning and buying local health services in hospital and in the community.
