Next month is National Walking Month. Living Streets is asking the nation to give walking a go and pledge to #Try20. They’re challenging you to see if you can walk 20 minutes every day throughout the month.
There are lots of easy ways to fit walking into your day – at work, once you clock off, with your family and at the weekend. Pledge today and Living Streets will send you 20 tips throughout the month, so you can walk your way to happiness this May.

VCS Organisations taking part in the Engagement Champions programme give their service users real involvement in Calderdale CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group) engagement and consultation processes.
The training is suitable for; service users, volunteers, staff and committee members and brings useful skills to individuals and organisations as well as giving your organisation influence in local health service development.
Taking place on Friday 13 May from 9.15am to 2.30pm at Halifax Minster, ‘Stand Up For Farmers’ brings together Primary Schools from across Calderdale to celebrate World Fairtrade Day.
This is the first conference in Calderdale to combine Fairtrade and the arts, offering professional development for teachers and innovative learning for students including interactive workshops involving drama, musical composition, real life stories and more.

A public consultation starts today, Tuesday 15 March 2016, on proposed changes to hospital services and further improvements to community services in Calderdale and Greater Huddersfield.
The consultation will run for 14 weeks until midnight on Tuesday 21 June 2016.

A major consultation will be launched on Tuesday 15 March 2016 on proposed changes to hospital services and further improvements to community services in Calderdale and Greater Huddersfield.
The Right Care, Right Time, Right Place consultation is being led by NHS Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and NHS Greater Huddersfield CCG and supported by Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
The consultation will run until midnight on Tuesday 21 June and a series of information sessions and public meetings will be taking place over the fourteen-week consultation period, where people can find out more about the proposed changes, ask questions
