The PRG Support Project at Voluntary Action Calderdale are putting on briefing sessions for anyone who wants to know more about Patient Reference Groups in Calderdale, how they operate and what activities they become involved in on the following dates:
Tuesday 1 December 2015 – 5pm to 7pm – Voluntary Action Calderdale
Thursday 28 January 2016 – 5pm to 7pm – Hebden Bridge Town Hall
Tuesday 16 February 2016 – 5pm to 7pm – Central Methodist Church, Brighouse
Tune in to reindeer cam where your children can watch the magic of Christmas unfold right before their very eyes when Santa comes out to feed his reindeer and watch your child’s face light up with excitement.
You can watch the reindeer live at any time of day but Santa himself will only make an appearance at the following times:
Weekdays at 4pm and Midnight
Weekends at Midnight
From Monday 30 November Santa will make daily visits at the following times:
Weekdays at 4pm, 11pm and 2am
Weekends at 11pm

Over 12,000 people took part in Calderdale Council’s largest ever budget consultation, which resulted in over 4300 formal responses.
The ‘Your Council, Your Voice’ public consultation was launched in September 2015 to help the Council identify savings of £9.6 million which must be made by 2017/18.
During the nine week consultation residents, local businesses, staff and voluntary organisations were invited to tell the Council where we should invest; how services could be run differently and how communities can help us keep Calderdale a fantastic place – all in the context of a further 12% cut in government funding by 2017/18 and at least another £20 million savings by 2018/19… read more…
On Sunday 29 November, Kershaw’s Garden Shopping Centre will be welcoming mans best friends to meet Santa Paws.
With Christmas just around the corner Santa Paws will be at the Garden Centre waiting to meet and greet your four legged friends with a gift and all breeds, ages and sizes are welcome between 1pm – 4pm.
As this is the season for giving, Kershaws are teaming up with the local RSPCA Branch, RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield and District to see if customers will help animals less fortunate than their own and make a donation to give them a better life in 2016.
The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield and District Branch are also holding a Christmas Open Day at their Animal Centre on Sunday 6 December for families to go and get in the festive spirit!
