Between 1 October 2016 and 28 February 2017, Clay House is available for hire for your perfect wedding day or civil ceremony at a special rate of £1,000.
This includes room and kitchen hire, preparation time on the evening before and morning of the ceremony, bar service with 10% discount on your choice of drinks package, and support of our experienced Centre Manager.
It’s now two months on from the devastating floods that hit Calderdale on Boxing Day, and communities are slowly beginning to return to normal, with many shops and businesses reopening.
Council services will also shortly return to normal as well. In affected areas parking charges were suspended and skip hire has been free of charge since the floods hit, but this period of relief is due to end on Tuesday 1 March 2016… read more…

This workshop is designed to help people who:
- Experience anxiety
- Struggle to manage stress
- Experience panic attacks
- Experience phobias
- Worry excessively
The workshop will help you understand how stress and anxiety may be triggered and how you can cope when you experience anxiety. It also includes strategies to help with poor sleep and the physical symptoms of anxiety.
