Have your say on hospital services from 15 March

A major consultation will be launched on Tuesday 15 March 2016 on proposed changes to hospital services and further improvements to community services in Calderdale and Greater Huddersfield.

The Right Care, Right Time, Right Place consultation is being led by NHS Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and NHS Greater Huddersfield CCG and supported by Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.

The consultation will run until midnight on Tuesday 21 June and a series of information sessions and public meetings will be taking place over the fourteen-week consultation period, where people can find out more about the proposed changes, ask questions

Services return to normal after flooding

It’s now two months on from the devastating floods that hit Calderdale on Boxing Day, and communities are slowly beginning to return to normal, with many shops and businesses reopening.

Council services will also shortly return to normal as well. In affected areas parking charges were suspended and skip hire has been free of charge since the floods hit, but this period of relief is due to end on Tuesday 1 March 2016… read more…

Bookstart busy babies at Brighouse Library

Baby bounce and rhyme sessions for babies and toddlers aged 0-2 just £2 per child or FREE for Passport to Leisure card holders on the following Tuesday mornings.
