The Role
Teaching ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is a rewarding yet challenging experience. By volunteering with Talk English you will gain experience of teaching, working as part of a team and working with learners from all over the world. You will also develop your communication, presentation and organisational skills.

The Training
We offer a FREE ‘Introduction to Teaching ESOL’ training course which introduces the role and responsibilities of Talk English volunteer ESOL teachers and ESOL teaching, learning and assessment methods and resources.  We may even be able to offer a fast track option for people who have already got teaching qualifications.

The Person
If you’ve got an interest in helping others, want to develop news skills, can commit to a minimum of 3 hours a week to co-teach ESOL in a community setting and able to attend the training course then we’d love to hear from you!
