On Saturday 8 August 2015 from 9.30am to 5pm.

Farm and domestic animals will be shown, there’s local produce, flowers, fruit & veg and crafts with entertainment such as vintage vehicles, farmer’s markets, stalls and more.

The School requires a Housekeeping Assistant to join the housekeeping team and part of the job includes laundry and sewing skills using an industrial machine.

The successful applicant could be expected to work on the Schools’ directed days and may also be required to work up to two weekends per year if needed. You should be able to support your application with proof of relevant experience.

Walk or Run to Ell-and-Back – 4 Oct

Elland Round TableThe walk to Elland Back 2015 is a challenging 20 mile circular route to walk or run on Sunday 4 October 2015.

There are regular checkpoints, spectacular countryside views and hot food at the end. This event is organaised and run by Elland Round Table volunteers.

* 20 mile supported circular route from Greetland in West Yorkshire
* Stunning panoramic views over the foothills of the Pennines, Calderdale Valley and West Yorkshire
* Entry fee includes refreshments en route, hot food at the finish and signed certificate

How do I enter?
Register online today!   (rules of entry apply)
Can I enter on the day?
Yes, we can usually accommodate entries on the day, but please try to register in advanceso we can include you in our catering arrangements.

How much does it cost to enter? 
£9.00 for LDWA members, £10.00 for others

Where can I see the route and photos?
We’ve put a route map online and have an online gallery showcasing the stunning scenery you’ll get to enjoy.

Where is the new venue? 
Since 2014 the new Start/finish point is at Heath RUFC which is in a place known locally as West Vale. The official address is actually North Dean, Stainland Road, Greetland, West Yorkshire, HX4 8LS

Are runners allowed? 
Yes, we do allow runners to take part, but we do ask that you adhere to the later start time so we can make sure the checkpoints are manned in time.

When does the event start? 

Registration will open at 7.30am, with walkers departing between 8.00 and 8.30am, and runners at 9.30am
