Eligibility Criteria
LEARNERS NEED A LAPTOP, TABLET OR COMPUTER TO ACCESS THE BELOW COURSES! (Online courses)
Learners must be 19 +. Currently unemployed or on a low income.
Must not have completed these qualifications previously at degree standard or possess the same qualifications higher than level 1.
A learners Maths and English working level must be at least an Entry Level 3. An online BKSB initial assessment is required to be completed prior to the course starting.
Please note, the cut-off date for referrals is the Wednesday before the course starts, to allow time for the learners to complete the initial assessment and enrolment process. Referrals made after this will be put on the next available date.

This offer is only available to residents of Halifax or Bradford
The purpose of this qualification is to equip learners with the knowledge of different Specific Learning Difficulties, how they are diagnosed and how individuals can be supported. The qualification can be used by a wide range of learners looking to improve their knowledge and awareness in this subject area, including those working within healthcare, social care and education contexts. The qualification is also suitable for teaching staff, care staff or anyone looking to build their knowledge of dyslexia and other learning difficulties.
Experience in the workplace
Learners do not need to be working or undertaking practical placements to take this qualification.Units Covered:
