FREE Fishing books for under 16’s

Brighouse Angling Association, are fortunate in having many generous members who have kindly donated a number of fishing books for the use of young people in the district.

YES it is a free gift, no catches, nothing to fill in and nothing to do but head to Brighouse, Rastrick or Bailiff Bridge Libraries and get your hands on one.

You are also encouraged to go along and try the great sport of fishing at Brookfoot Lakes Fishery, Brighouse.

Chris Helme Autumn Talks – The Road to Publication

Join Chris Helme at various Calderdale Libraries as he takes you on his journey from what in 1985 seemed a good but on the other hand daft idea that he could put a book together.

Now eight books later culminating with his latest ‘All in a Day’s Work’ which is based on 30 years in the police service the publication story is brought right up to date.
