Are you a cancer patient who has received treatment in West Yorkshire and Harrogate?
West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance is keen to find out patients’ experience of being offered any of the different parts of the ‘Recovery Package’, which means that the support you get is built around you and your own needs. New national cancer guidance says that all people diagnosed with cancer should have access to the ‘Recovery Package’ by 2020.
They want to know which parts you were offered, what was useful and beneficial and your views on how we could improve.
Please follow the link to the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance website where you can complete the survey and submit it online. The survey will be available from July 10 to September 14 2018. https://canceralliance.wyhpartnership.co.uk/news-and-events/latest-news/complete-our-patient-survey-living-and-beyond-cancer
Bring the kids to Savile Park in Halifax on Saturday 21 July, 9:45am for the Race For Life Pretty Muddy Kids event.
It is a muddy course with plenty of obstacles and a mud pit, so the kids can get extra muddy while having fun with friends and helping to raise valuable funds for beating cancer.
The 5k obstacle course completes 1 lap of the grassed areas close to Savile Park Road, before heading into Manor Heath Park. The route is a mixture of roads, grass and tarmac paths. Road closures are in place for your safety.
£10 for each child with supervising adults going free. Book now at the Cancer Research Race for Life website.
This is of course followed by the adult Pretty Muddy Race for Life with details here.
