Calderdale Smoke Free Playground Areas Consultation – Have your say!

Posted on

Calderdale Council wants to help improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in Calderdale and has been guided by research and are proposing to make all Calderdale playground areas smoke-free.

One of the areas the Council is working hard on is to try and prevent young people from ever starting to smoke. The adoption of smoke free playgrounds would be voluntary and not legally enforceable; signs would be placed in the areas.

What do you think? Your views will determine whether the future of children’s play areas will be smoke free.

This consultation will run from Monday 18 to Sunday 31 January 2016 and can be accessed online here.
