Rock Painting workshops for February Half Term with Alex Abel
Alex Abel, freelance illustrator and Arts Educator will be running Rock Painting workshops for children and young people during the half term, one at the Orange Box and the other at the Kickstart Wellness centre in Greetland.
Places are £8 per child and this include all the materials needed for the workshop.
You can pay on the day but you need to book in advance.
Monday 13th Feb: 11am-12pm – ages 10-15 years @ The Orangebox, Central Halifax, next to the Piece Hall entrance.

Curious Minds Free movement and crafts event Tuesday 22 and Friday 25 February
Looking for something fun to do with the little ones this half term?
Why not join us for a fun session of movement and crafts?
Lower Valley Sure Start Children’s Centres and Curious Motion bring Curious Minds, a free session for babies and children up to 5 years of age.

Delightful Dance fun at the Orange Box February 25th
Time Out Calderdale and Curious Motion come to the Orange Box in Halifax to introduce you to dance through fun sequences and activities with time to create your own ideas and find out how you like to move.
This workshop is aimed at young people and it is designed to be accessible to all capabilities.

Healthy Holidays Calderdale 2022 Applications are now open
Calderdale Council are launching the Healthy Holidays Calderdale 2022 applications process, working in partnership with Community Foundation for Calderdale.

Underlands curious, creative journey for 10-14 year olds
Hebden Bridge Arts festival and Time Out invite all children 10-14 years old to a curious, creative journey over four group sessions, starting this February half term.
If you’re 10-14 & want to try something different and meet new people, you will find something to inspire you in the Underlands

Kershaw’s Garden Centre are once again holding their popular children’s craft sessions to entertain the younger members of the community over the holiday period.

XS children’s half term holiday activities for ages 8-15
Do you want something fun, exciting and healthy for your children to do over the school holidays? The XS children’s holiday activities at North Bridge Leisure Centre offer a wide range of sports to try and new skills to learn, for children aged 8 –15.
