Christmas is a very special time for our families. A time to share magical moments and make precious memories that will last forever.

That’s why Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice wants to make Christmas as magical as possible – but they need your help.

Luckily, they have 12 festive and fun ways you can get involved. From donating to our shops, playing the raffle, volunteering or cycling to Lapland (well, sort of), there’s something for everyone!

Volunteer for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice are looking for volunteers for various dates, 10:00am-4:00pm (though even an hour would help) to hold a bucket collection at Sainsburys near Crow Wood in Sowerby Bridge.

The dates so far are;

Thursday 11 October to Sunday 14 October and

Thursday 22 November to Sunday 26 November

How many hours will I work?
Whether you can donate 1 hour or 5 hours, you’ll be making a huge difference!

Who will show me what to do?
A Volunteer Coordinator will show you the ropes and give you all the support you need to get the most value from your time.

Do I need any skills/experience?
This role is perfect for those who are organised, self-motivated and good at speaking to people.

*Travel expenses can be paid in line with our Volunteer Expenses Policy.

Volunteer for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice this Christmas

Christmas is a time of year when you may want to give some time to helping the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. Various volunteering opportunities arise from taking bucket collections to packing bags at M&S.

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports children with life-shortening conditions – plus their entire families.

They help hundreds of wonderful children, and their equally wonderful families, through their Hospice at Home service and at the fantastic hospice building at Russell House in Huddersfield.
