Freecycling in Calderdale – It’s not waste until you waste it!

Posted on

Your trash could be someone else’s treasure, so if you have items you no longer need, why not advertise them for free at the Calderdale Freecycle Group or the Calderdale Recycle group?

Calderdale Freecycle – https://groups.freecycle.org/CalderdaleUK

Calderdale Recyclehttps://www.ilovefreegle.org/explore/CalderdaleRecycle

The idea behind these groups is to reduce the amount of reusable items going to waste by passing them on where they can be reused. You may be surprised at what use might be found of your old items, or by what you could find – for absolutely free!

These groups promote conservation, reduction of waste and equally importantly, the sense of community and solidarity.

All items advertised must be offered free of charge, absolutely no money must be exchanged. Individuals need to communicate to arrange the exchange or pickup of goods.

Resellers cannot be stopped but the practice of collecting items for free for the purpose of reselling is discouraged.

Everywhere there’s talk about our impact on the environment and reducing our carbon (and otherwise) footprint. Calderdale freecycle offers an easy way of reducing this! Just read some of the testimonials made by freeglers.
