Friends of Rastrick Library Extraordinary General Meeting
On Thursday, 7 February, 6:30pm there will be an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Friends of Rastrick Library..
At the meeting, we will have the annual election of officers, deferred from the AGM in November 2018, and there will also be some proposals for some minor changes to the constitution.
Our Chairperson will be stepping down at this EGM and will not be standing for re-election.
They are accepting nominations for Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. Please give these to the Secretary either before or at the meeting. You can hand in nominations at the library, or email friendsofrastricklibrary@hotmail.com.
The EGM will be followed immediately by an ordinary committee meeting.
The meeting will start at 6.30pm at Rastrick Library. All are welcome to attend.
Jumping Clay at Rastrick Library
With the support of Friends of Rastrick Library Jumping Clay is coming to Rastrick library on Wednesday 25 July, 10:15am.
Fun with clay for the kids! In this session participants will have the opportunity to create their own fridge magnet!
Spaces are limited so booking is required at £3 per child.

Flat Stanley at Elland and Rastrick Libraries
Stanley Lambchop is just a normal healthy boy, but ever since a large notice board fell on him, he’s been only half an inch thick. But amazing things can happen to you when you are flat! Enjoy the magical and brilliantly funny adventures of Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown. You will make your own Flat Stanley and Airmail envelope.
This activity is suitable for children aged 5-8.
Tuesday 20 February, 10:30-11:30 at Elland Library.

Tickets are £3 per child and are available through Ticketsource.
All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Bricks 4 Kidz at Rastrick Library – This week
Join in for some Lego play and brick fun with two sessions running side-by-side, one for over 5’s (Lego) and another for the under 5’s (Duplo) – Kindly funded by Rastrick Big Local, this is a FREE session for residents of postcode HD6 3
