Healthwatch Calderdale Survey of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

Posted on Updated on

Healthwatch Calderdale is working on a project to source the views of people with experiences of local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

They have been working with families on a one-to-one basis and are now seeking further views on the services for children displaying signs of autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or attention deficit disorder (ADD).

Healthwatch believes that in sharing your experiences, anonymously, they can help make a positive difference. They will share these stories with the CAMHS service provider and the commissioner (Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group), to ensure people’s voices are heard, highlighting the issues raised and making recommendations for positive change.

Help Healthwatch to Improve Social Care in Calderdale and Kirklees

Posted on Updated on

For the next 12 months, Healthwatch Calderdale and Healthwatch Kirklees are focussing on the experience of people using Adult Social Care services.  They want to collect detailed feedback from people across a few months to help give a clear picture of what it’s really like to use those services. Hopefully you might want to be involved in this engagement project.

If you want to get involved please contact Clare at Healthwatch Kirklees on either 01924 450379 or email clare.costello@healthwatchkirklees.co.uk.

Healthwatch are the independent champion for people who use health and social care services.  Anyone who wants to get involved with their engagement around Adult Social Care can be assured that they will represent their views to those with the power to make change happen.

The sole purpose is to help make care better.
