Aanika Dhillon will be speaking about the work of Marie Curie across the valley and how services have been developing to meet the needs of local people living with terminal illness and their carers.
There will also be an opportunity to meet some of their supporters and network with local volunteers from the area.

Marie Curie is appealing for volunteers in the Brighouse area to take on key roles within the area’s new fundraising group that meets locally each month and covers the HD6 area. The roles that Brighouse Fundraising Group need specifically are a Group Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
These Group Members only need to a few hours each month to meet as a group and plan local fundraising events and help deliver Marie Curie campaigns, such as placing collection tins in the town and postering within the local community.
The group has dedicated support from their local community fundraiser for Brighouse, Aanika Dhillon as well as a full kit of fundraising materials and resources to help spread the word about Marie Curie services and activities in Brighouse.
