Join the global Parkinson’s community on World Parkinson’s Day, Wednesday 11 April 2018, to show people what Parkinson’s truly is.
On World Parkinson’s Day, Halifax Town Hall is hosting a coffee morning 10:30am-2:00pm. Why not call in for a coffee and sample some of our delicious cakes?
The coffee morning will be opened by the Mayor of Calderdale , Ferman Ali.
Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition. This means that it causes problems in the brain and gets worse over time.
ABOUT PARKINSON’S
There’s currently no cure for Parkinson’s and we don’t yet know why people get the condition.
But there are lots of different treatments, therapies and support available to help you manage the condition.

FREE Community Coffee Morning with the Mayor of Calderdale
The Mayor of Calderdale invites you to join her for a Community Coffee Morning including raffles, tombola’s with proceeds to the Mayor’s Charities – Parkison’s UK (Halifax and District) & WomenCentre.
