Children’s Book Festival at Rastrick Library

Go along to Rastrick Library for a Children’s Book Festival with author Philip Caveney and illustrator Lynne Chapman.

Friday 13 November – Author Philip Caveney

  • 1.30pm to 3pm – Schools workshop (schools only)
  • 6pm to 7.30pm – Philip will talk, read from his books, answer questions and sign copies of his books as required (suitable for 8+ years)

Saturday 14 November – Illustrator Lynne Chapman
Talk followed by a practical session of drawing & illustrations.

  • 10.30am to 12.30pm – Storytelling Session (4 to 7 years)
  • 2pm to 4pm – Illustration Workshop (7 to 14 years)

An evening with Frances Brody at Rastrick Library

Enjoy an evening with Leeds based author Frances Brody, creator of the Kate Shackleton Mystery Series, writer of stories and plays for BBC Radio and the Frances McNeil novels, as part of the Brighouse Arts Festival.

On Thursday 24 September – From 7pm
At Rastrick Library, Crowtrees Lane, Brighouse, HD6 3NE

Tickets cost £5 (concessions £3.50) including refreshments.
