North Halifax Partnership (NHP) Sure Start Children’s Centres are excited to be recruiting for qualified and unqualified early years practitioners to work in our Children’s Centres in Calderdale. We have a variety of roles available.

Our Children’s centres are exciting places to work. All the staff are committed to supporting their local communities to provide high quality learning for children. We provide an excellent working environment where children and staff thrive.

Early Years Practitioner Plus

This post is for qualified and experienced practitioners with a passion for helping children develop to their full potential. This role will have the responsibility to lead an area in child development, such as speech and language, SEND, safeguarding.

Early Years Practitioner

This post is for newly qualified or unqualified staff, or staff returning to childcare following a break or staff who are looking for a new and meaningful new career in childcare. You will be working with children and their families to support them to develop and have the best start in life.

All our posts have an attractive annual leave package including a period of closure at Christmas, staff voucher incentives and access to an excellent and innovating training programme. There are multiple internal career progression routes within the different children centres.

5 Day warehouse training with £150 to cover expenses and a guaranteed job interview upon completion of training!

Castle View Recruitment have a high number of Industrial Vacancies with regular starts for a range of clients that we have worked with for many years. This agreement has been set up to meet the needs of our employers training needs and has reduced staff turnover as we are providing them with the right people for the right job.

Our fast-track programme over 5 days offers:

  • Improving own learning and performance
  • Problem Solving at Work
  • Introduction to the Facilities Industry
  • Workplace Hygiene
  • Health, Safety and Security
  • Interview Skills

All the above qualifications are desired within the industrial sector, they are also nationally recognised and transferable to any job role.

All candidates who are offered a place on the 5 day training programme, will be offered £150 on the final day of the course to cover any travel costs the learner may have incurred.

Wellholme Park Children’s Centre is looking for an inspirational manager who is able to provide leadership to a staff team and a provision of 37 children aged 0-4 years. Alongside our nursery we offer Children’s Centre services to across the areas of Brighouse, Rastrick, Bailiff Bridge & Lightcliffe.

 

Based at Wellholme Park Children’s Centre

37 hours per week

£30,000 per annum

 

We are looking for someone who has substantial experience of managing a staff team together with the knowledge and understanding of how to support staff to provide high standards of care and education for our children.

Along with these skills you will need to have experience and a clear understanding of managing safeguarding issues and working together with a range of partner agencies.
