Join the Community Foundation for Calderdale, for the 2017 Calderdale Community Spirit Awards, where we celebrate, acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of the best charities, community groups and volunteers in the area. The 2017 Calderdale Community Spirit Awards are to be held at The Shay Stadium in Halifax on the 28 September. It will be an evening to remember as we hear touching stories of bravery, determination and ultimately success from the Men & Women who do so much to keep their causes alive and at the forefront of our minds.
While the Community Spirit Awards are being held in Halifax, they are open to all charitable organisations in Calderdale.
We know Calderdale is teeming with excellent charities, community groups, and volunteers, and we want them to be recognised and celebrated for the great work they do. So, if your charitable organisation is doing something great nominate your organisation, if you have been supported by a local charitable group nominate them, or if you have a volunteer you just couldn’t live without let us know.
We have 13 categories to choose from and you can nominate your organisation/ individual in more than one. http://halifaxcommunityspiritawards.co.uk/categories/
