Managing Mental Health in your Organisation

Posted on Updated on

Thursday 20 July 10:00 – 13:30 at the VAC offices, Hall Street, Halifax.

This half day session will look at managing your mental health in your organisation: identifying problems and finding coping mechanisms that could help. We’ll hear from a Healthy Minds volunteer with personal experience of managing a mental health condition at work, and explore a range of strategies with a view to identifying which might suit us best as individuals.

We will also look at mental health in the wider workplace: how might we realise that someone we work with is struggling with their mental health, and how might we respond and support them, including looking at local services.

– Learners become more confident in identifying mental health issues

– Learners are better informed and have more confidence in how to respond

This session is for voluntary community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations who would like to find out more about managing mental health in their organisation.
